A Pervious Concrete Gabion System

Patent Title: A Pervious Concrete Gabion System

Description

This invention enhanced the structure in resisting soil pressures, minimizing the lodging of foreign materials which can cause wire mesh cage (2) breakage and maintaining the structure’s uniformity and alignment without compromising its permeability and flexibility characteristics. The snag-fit arrangement of pervious concrete blocks (3) in said wire mesh cage (2) made the structure more massive, creates higher friction of fillers to avoid structure bulging and eliminating the lodging of foreign materials in the system to serve as bridge abutment protection and stream bank erosion control.

Innovative Features and Benefits:

A pervious concrete gabion system, comprising of a wire mesh cage, a plurality of pervious concrete blocks laid inside said wire mesh cage and a wire mesh cover of said wire mesh cage characterized in that a snag-fit arrangement of pervious concrete blocks in said wire mesh cage made the structure more massive, creates higher friction of fillers to avoid structure bulging and eliminating the lodging of foreign materials in the system to serve as bridge abutment protection and stream bank erosion control.
