An Amebiasis Kit that provides a more convenient and cheaper tool to diagnose amebiasis infections. It only requires saliva samples rather than stool samples from patients. It does not require laboratory equipment and microscopy since it uses ELISA to detect antibodies in the saliva. Detection of antibodies is indicated by color change.

The kit is self-contained and results can be visualized In four hours. It has a sensitivity of 94.1% and specificity of 97 6% with an overall diagnostic accuracy of 98% when compared with Polymerase Chain Reaction (peR). Its cost is much cheaper than other E. hisfolylica detection kits currently available in the market and provides results much sooner than in laboratories
