Description

The invention disaster detection and alarm system is an improved disaster detection system that is capable of detecting earthquake, fire, and flood occurrence with specific and certain response audio alarms to each detected incident.

Innovative Features and Benefits:

The disaster detection and alarm system comprises a communication link as a medium where in signal transmission from the detection units and reception of signal in the central control unit, a central control unit (CCU) receives signal transmitted from the detectors units and is responsible for broadcast of the recorded audio alarms connects to an earthquake detection unit (EDU) a device specifically design, implemented and tested to sense earthquake or vibration occurrence, a fire detection unit (FDU) a device specifically design, implemented and tested to detect presence of fire and transmit detected signal; a flood sensing unit (FSU). The invention is configured to detect the exact location of a disaster.

Business Potential:

The invention of disaster detection and alarm systems aimed to support disaster risk reduction, and prevention, by the deployment of disaster detection through the installation of EDU, FDU, and FSU to the potential location of catastrophe occurrence; provide reliable warning and notification audio alarm system through  implementation of the CCU for real-time warning and notification.  This invention contributes to strengthening resilience to the disasters.
