ORGANIC FERTILIZER
Patent Number: PH-2-2019-050145
Patent Title: A Composition of Organic Fertilizer Capable of Enhancing Soil Organic Matters
Description
This utility model generally relates to an agricultural product for soil fertility.
Technical Merits:
This technology refers to an organic fertilizer capable of enhancing soil organic matters. Its unique composition expands the production path of biological organic fertilizer, and it increases the pH level of the soil matters due to the calcium and magnesium content of the substrates. In addition, this fertilizer improves the soil texture and biological properties, such as granulation and aggregation, thus, increasing the soil’s cation exchange capacity and eventually improves microbial activities.
Branded as EFJL Kompost, this fertilizer uses raw materials as main components, thereby helping eliminate environmental pollution. It helps control several plant problems such as pest (aphids and white grubs) infestation and bacterial stalk rot. Likewise, it helps prevent plant diseases in bananas like bunchy tops, bugtok sigatoka, panama disease, and fusarium mosaic disease. EFJL Kompost is also proven effective against the phytophthora disease both in cacao and pineapple.
Applications and Commercial Opportunities:
Farmers and gardeners planting cacao, banana, corn, commercial/backyard vegetables, and the likes are the potential markets of this fertilizer. Currently, this technology is exclusively licensed to the startup company EFJL Agri Supply, with nationwide coverage. However, investors may still invest directly into the company as stockholders, regional wholesale distributors, or retailers.
