Description

The invention discloses the system for making pastry particularly turnover, pies, and tarts, using an automatic, continuously assembled pastry machine. The system for making pastry includes a device such as cutter, mixer, kneader, stuffer and molder, fryer, strainer, wrapper, a container, a conveyor, and refrigerated conveyor. The said system provides various advantages compared to the single detached machines which are currently used nowadays. At present, most of the devices used for pastry making are manual implements or automated but independent devices that can complete only one process or step wherein after such process like cutting, mixing, kneading, molding, stuffing, frying, and straining of the product requires excessive food handling to transfer it to another machine or device to commence another process. Aside from contamination due to handling of the raw materials, the time spent to transfer the product from one device to another reduces the efficiency of the production process. Also, it maximizes human intervention and in a way increases production cost due to incurred labor requirements in such a way that viable productivity is lessened or even lost. The new system in making pastry using an automated and continuous pastry making machine, on the other hand, have many advantages; they are hygienic because it eliminates human intervention during the process, and they are substantially efficient because it is capable of producing more finished product.

Innovative Features and Benefits:

Another advantage of the new system is it allows proofing between molding and frying by providing the molded product a chilling temperature by attaching a refrigerant in a conveyor before it reaches the fryer. This will provide the finished product with a crispy texture compared to the old system.

Business Potential:

The technology can be used by bakeries, especially those that demands for larger volume. Hotel commissaries and restaurants that call for quality and highly sophisticated pastry products.
